Why Did the Dubai Court Issue the Travel Ban?

Court records indicate that the execution proceedings are linked to the enforcement of a notarised legal document. Judges observed that the travel restriction was necessary to reduce the risk of the respondent leaving the UAE while the recovery process is still underway. The outstanding claim is valued at AED 2,998,713, which is approximately ₹7 crore. Under UAE law, courts may impose travel restrictions in certain execution cases while financial recovery proceedings continue.
