Emirates Kolkata – Dubai route now offers 12 weekly services, with the airline introducing its Airbus A350 on the daily rotation and adding another weekly departure between the two cities.
The A350 received a ceremonial water cannon welcome at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport on October 25, 2026. According to the Airports Authority of India, Emirates’ weekly services on the route have increased from 11 to 12.
For passengers travelling between eastern India and the UAE, the update brings an additional departure option and a new aircraft on the daily service. Premium Economy is also scheduled across the airline’s full 12-service weekly offering.
Emirates Kolkata – Dubai Route: What Has Changed?
The update brings two separate changes to the route: an aircraft upgrade on the daily service and an increase in the overall weekly schedule.
Emirates’ Airbus A350 now operates EK570 from Dubai to Kolkata and EK571 from Kolkata to Dubai. It replaces the Boeing 777 previously scheduled on that daily rotation.
The remaining five weekly services, EK572 and EK573, use retrofitted four-class Boeing 777 aircraft.

Together, the two rotations provide:
- Seven weekly Airbus A350 departures in each direction.
- Five weekly Boeing 777 departures in each direction.
- A total of 12 weekly departures in each direction between Kolkata and Dubai.
Not every flight on the route is therefore an A350 service. Travellers interested in a particular aircraft should check the flight number and equipment shown for their travel date.
Dubai Travel Safety, Local Laws and Essential Tips
Emirates Airbus A350 Begins Daily Kolkata–Dubai Flights
Emirates announced the A350 deployment in July, with October 25 set as the introduction date.
The aircraft change applies to the daily EK570 and EK571 services, giving passengers a regular A350 option rather than an occasional departure on selected days.
For travellers booking from Kolkata, EK571 is the daily A350 service to Dubai. In the opposite direction, EK570 operates from Dubai to Kolkata.
Aircraft assignments can change, so passengers should confirm the equipment listed when booking and check again before departure.

Premium Economy Across All 12 Weekly Emirates Flights
Premium Economy is now scheduled across all 12 weekly Emirates services between Kolkata and Dubai.
The cabin is available on the A350 operating the daily rotation and on the retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft used for the additional five weekly services.
That distinction gives passengers more flexibility: choosing Premium Economy does not necessarily require choosing the A350. However, cabin availability will depend on the selected departure and remaining seats.
Travellers connecting beyond Dubai should check the aircraft and cabin on their onward flight separately, rather than assuming the same onboard offering continues throughout the journey.
