Abu Dhabi car auction highlights will include some of the world’s rarest cars this December, with a Ferrari estimated at up to $850,000, a manual V12 Lamborghini and a limited-edition Lancia among the first six announced entries.

RM Sotheby’s will hold the sale in the UAE capital on December 9, 2026. The early line-up features four Ferraris, a Lamborghini Murciélago and a rally-inspired Lancia, bringing together different generations of Italian performance cars.

Published estimates range from $80,000 to $850,000. The most valuable car announced so far could fetch approximately Dh3.12 million at the upper end of its estimate, although the final price will depend on bidding.

Beyond the price tags, the details make this sale worth watching: a Ferrari with just 5,200 kilometres recorded, a Lamborghini with an exposed manual shift gate, and a Lancia from a commemorative production run of only 400 examples.

A Low-Mileage Ferrari Leads the Estimates

The Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M carries the highest estimate among the six cars announced so far: $700,000–$850,000.

The open-top Ferrari has covered just 5,200 kilometres since new. Presented in its launch colours, the North American-delivered example has been maintained exclusively by Ferrari and comes with comprehensive documentation, according to the published auction details.

Its combination of low mileage, documented maintenance and open-air performance makes it one of the headline entries.

The estimate remains a guide, however. It is not a confirmed selling price or a guarantee of what bidders will pay.

A Manual V12 Lamborghini Brings Old-School Appeal

The 2004 Lamborghini Murciélago offers a different attraction: a six-speed gated manual transmission paired with a 6.2-litre V12.

Producing 572 horsepower and equipped with four-wheel drive, the car combines Lamborghini’s dramatic design with a traditional, manually operated gearbox.

The left-hand-drive example was delivered new to Japan in February 2004. It is accompanied by books, manuals and a warranty card.

Its estimate is $400,000–$450,000.

For enthusiasts drawn to the mechanical interaction of changing gears themselves, the exposed shift gate is a defining feature of this entry.

Three More Ferraris Add Variety to the Sale

The other Ferrari consignments cover lightweight performance, unusual factory specifications and four-seat grand touring.

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

The 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was delivered new to Switzerland and has covered approximately 32,000 kilometres.

Accompanied by a strong service history, original books and tools, it carries an estimate of $450,000–$550,000.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano stands out for its Extra Campionario Ivory Cream exterior, brown interior and extensive carbon-fibre detailing.

The Middle East-market car is currently registered in the UAE and has covered 39,900 kilometres. A specialist inspection reported it to be in very good condition.

Its pre-sale estimate is $140,000–$200,000.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1 HGTC

The 2006 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1 HGTC combines paint-to-sample Gris Violet bodywork with Cuoio leather upholstery.

Its specification includes the HGTC package, Daytona seats, an Alcantara dashboard and bespoke interior detailing.

With approximately 58,000 kilometres recorded, the car comes with a full service history and original order documentation.

It is estimated at $80,000–$120,000 and will be offered without reserve.

A Special-Edition Lancia With Rally Heritage

The 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione “Martini 5” brings a different chapter of Italian motoring history to the auction.

Number 388 of 400 examples, it belongs to an edition created to celebrate Lancia’s fifth consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title.

The car wears the edition’s signature Martini stripes and underwent extensive recommissioning in May 2022.

Estimated at $120,000–$150,000, it will also be offered without reserve.

The 400-car production figure applies specifically to the “Martini 5” edition, rather than to the wider Delta or Integrale model range.

What Does “Without Reserve” Mean?

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and Lancia “Martini 5” are being offered without reserve.

That means the seller has not set a minimum sale price that must be reached for the car to sell. The published estimate still provides guidance, but it does not act as a price floor.

Prospective buyers should separately review bidder registration requirements, buyer’s premium, applicable taxes, payment conditions and any transport or export arrangements.

The winning bid alone may not represent the full cost of acquiring and moving a vehicle.

What Collectors Should Watch Next

The first consignments bring several collecting interests into one sale: low-mileage Ferraris, distinctive colour combinations, a manual V12 Lamborghini and a limited-edition Lancia with rally heritage.

For buyers, the next important documents are the final catalogue, detailed condition reports and individual lot histories.

Additional entries may broaden the line-up before December. Until the auction takes place, the announced estimates offer a guide to positioning—not evidence of future investment returns.

With the sale approaching, attention will turn from the cars’ specifications to the competition they attract when bidding begins in Abu Dhabi.
