Nearly 22,000 Pakistanis were deported from Gulf countries between March 1 and July 13, 2026, according to figures presented before Pakistan’s National Assembly. The data shows that 21,951 Pakistani nationals were formally deported during the period for various immigration and legal violations.

Saudi Arabia recorded the highest number, with around 15,495 Pakistani nationals deported. The UAE followed with 3,803 cases, while Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait also recorded deportations.
The figures were disclosed in a written response during Pakistan’s National Assembly Question Hour.
Pakistanis Deported from UAE and Saudi Arabia
The Pakistanis deported from UAE included 636 people classified as absconders, while 347 deportations were linked to visa-related offences. Nine Pakistani nationals were also deported from the UAE through an Interpol process, according to the reported parliamentary response.
Saudi Arabia accounted for the largest share of the Gulf deportations in 2026, with more than 15,000 Pakistani nationals sent back during the reported period.
Why Were Pakistani Nationals Deported?
The reasons covered several categories. The data included 4,628 absconders, 1,294 people who had been jailed and 968 who were blacklisted.
Another 1,155 cases involved lost passports, while 689 Pakistani nationals were deported for visa violations and 342 cases involved refused entry into Gulf countries. The data also cited overstaying, begging, forged documents and other legal or immigration issues.
